The earle of Leven tooke the oath of alledgeance and oath of parliament.
The earle of Annandale protested that the calling of the earle of Leven should not prejudge the earle of Calander of his precedencie befor him according to the date of his patent; and desyred both their patents might be presently tryd and judged. The parliament recomends to the lords of the articles to heare both parties and report.
A report of the articles concerning the precedencie due to the clerk register, advocat and thesaurer deput red, votted and approven. And ane act statutorie past therupon.
Act for sequestring the marquesse [of] Huntlie's rents that are in possession of the marques of Argyll.
