[Charges against marquis of Argyll]

Mr James Guthrie being called to the barr and the papers mentioned in the dittay being showin to him, viz: the declinator and proteitation and petition being shewin to him, he acknowledged his awne hand writt and that he would owne. Thairafter his dittay with the papers lybellit being red in his presence, he himselfe red his defenses in presence of the parliament.

The parliament continowis the reading of the replyis and duplyis till to morrow at 10 hours.
