Ordanes a comittee to be appoynted to think wpoun the way of calling in of the comissioners of suche shyres and burghis as ar not yit come to the parliament, and to considder what course shall be takin for bringing of comissioners from thoise shyres and burghes whiche ar wnder the pooer of the enemye; and remitts this to the comittee of overturs.

His king's matie and estaitts of parliament earnestlie desyres the comissioners of the generall assemble to remayne heir for sum tyme, that they may have ther advyce in sum particulars to be comunicat to them. And that they may leive behind thame sum with quhom they may adevyss and that now they may think upon the fast and humiliatioune to be throw the kingdome. That a committee be apoynted to think wpoun the best overturs anent the comanding, strenthing, uneitting, disposing off and provyding the forces of the kingdom with mentenance, amonitione and uther necessars, and for redressing of ther disordors, opressiones and for any uther thing concerneing ther forces, to consist of four of evrie estaits to be named be the severall bodyes. That a comittee be appoynted of tuo of evrie estaitt for overturs, and a comittee for bills consisting of three of evrie estaits, the threid part of the number to be the quorum of evrie comittee promiscuus, keeping the tyme and places appoynted for meitting be the parliament. And ordanes the place of meitting for the comittee for militarie effairis to be the sessione hous, the place for the comittee of bills the north syd of the parliament hous and for the overtures the south syd. Ordains letters to be writtin to the severall shyres anent comissioneris to be sent to the parliament to be direct to the shireffis or to the former comissioneris. And anent the reasones pro and contra quhy men should be admitted or excludit from joyneing with the armie or acting a part againes the comon enemy.
