Sentence against Dalgetie, Drumond and Ross

The estaittis of parliament, having takin to thair consideratioun the sentence of treasone givin and pronunced aganes William Hay of Dalgetie in the year 1645 for his invasione of the kingdome upoun the south borderis thairoff, with otheris mentionat in the said decreit, and withall considering that now he is takin in the laitt rebellione in the north, being joyned with the enemys of the kingdom in a new invasion, they have ordained the forsaid sentence of fourfaultour pronunced againes him to be putt to executioune upoun him in maner, tyme and place as followis, viz: they ordane the said William Hay off Dalgetie to be takin to the mercat croce of Edinburgh upoun Tuesday nixt, the fourth day of Junii nixtcom, and thair his head to be stricken from his body at tuo efternun, and ordaines the magistratis of Edinburgh to sie this putt in executioune.
The estaittis of parliament, having takin the report from the comittie of processe concerneing William Ross, and lykwayes ane report maid be the laird [of] Hoptoun concerneing David Drumond, to thair consideratioun, they have gratiouslie pardoned thame as to thair lyffis and banishes thame [from] the kingdom, and ordanes thame to inact thameselffis never to returne to this kingdom without libertie of parliament, nor to do any thing in prejudice of the kingdom under the paine of death; and appoynts them to goe to France under the command of my Lord Angus and Sir Robert Murray.

Edinburgh, the last day of Maii 1650
The estaittis of parliament, [having] takin to thair consideratioune that William Hay of Dalgetie, being formerlie fourfaulted in the yeir 1645 and being now takin in the laitt invasione, the dome and sentence of fourfaultour is to be pronunced aganes him and putt to executioune, and withall considering that Gilbert, erle of Erroll, as a lawfull creditour to him in dyverse considerable sowmes of money, who hath acqured the rycht and possessioun of his landis and uther estaitt belonging to him, thairfor they have declaired and be thir presentis declairis that the foirsaid sentence of fourfaultour and executioune to follow thairupoun shall nawayes be prejudiciall to the said erle of Erroll of his rycht and possessioun of the landis and estaitt belonging to the said William Hay of Dagetie, bot that the same shall stand in the full force notwithstanding thairoff. The estaittis of parliament, taking to consideratioun ane desyre givin in be Andro Hay of Hayistoun, John Scott of Hundershope and Mr Alexander Spittell, younger, in Etherstoun, commissioners appoynted for trying and putting to executioun of Issobell Alexander, accused for the cryme of witchcraft in Peblis presbiterie, craving that whereas the lordis of counsall wer pleased to give a comission to the foirsaidis persounes of the daitt (heir to insert the bill), as the supplicatioun beares, as lykwyse considdering ane report of the committie appoynted be the parliament for trying of witches, whereby it is fund that the charges of horning raised and execute against the supplicants above namit be suspendit and dischargit and that the haill depositiounes and confessiouns maid be the prisoner abovenamit, togither with all the dilatiounes against hir, be exhibit before the committie betwixt and the [...] day of Junii instant, to be considderit before giving answer to the supplicatioun abovewrittin, as the said report of the daitt the penult day of Maii beares, the saidis estaittis of parliament doe approve of the report abovewrittin and suspends and discharges all charges of horning raised and execute against the supplicantis abovenamit, and ordaines the haill depositiounes and confessiounes maid be the said Issobell Alexander, prisoner, togidder with all dilatiounes against hir, be exhibit before the committie betwixt and the twentie twa day of August nixt.
