The estaittis of parliament gives and grants full power and comissione to the erle of Eglintoun, the erle of Backloch and the erle of Weimys, Sir George Maxwell of Pollok, the laird [of] Hartrie and Robert Hepburne of Keath, Patrik Ross, Johne Hay and Johne Forbes, or any [...] as thair quorum, to meitt and consider of all billis and supplicatiounes to be givin in to the parliament quhilkis ar not appoynted for other comitteeis, and gives and grantis to theme and thair quorum the haill libertie and power whiche wes granted to the comitte of billis of the last sessione of parliament, and ordaines thame to consider thairoff and report thair opinione of suche as they shall think competent to estaittis of parliament.
