The act for purgeing the armie being redd, the parliament appoynts the quorum to be fyve promiscuus, and appoynts ther oathes to be takin de fideli administratione allanerlie and no further.

Letter from the erle [of] Lawderdail to the lord chancelar of the 3 day off Julii redd.

It being putt to the questione whither or not the duik of Buckinghame, Wolmett, Mr Harden, Mr Long, Doctor Fraser [and] Mr Ewer, formerlie ordaned to depairt out of Scotland, shall be permitted to stay in Scotland till the nixt sessione of parliament unles the comittee of estaitts shall find ther cariadge deserve the contrar, it wes voyced affirmative, bot that they should not com within the verge of the court nor have accesse to his matie. Thairefter it being putt to the question whither or not the duke of Buckinghame should remayne at court till the nixt sessione of parliament unles the comittee of estaitts should find otherways, it wes voyced affirmative.

The parliament, efter voyceing, permitts Dr Fraser to stay with the king till the nixt sessione of parliament.
