The estaitts ordanes the marquis [of] Argyll, the laird [of] Eight and the provest of Air to go to the toun councell of Edinburgh, to represent to thame the necessitie of the fortifing of Leith and that they would be pleased to tak some course to go quick about it.

Ordanes the severall bodyes to meitt the morrow at sevin hours, the subcomittee for the conference lykwayes to meitt thane, and the parliament at nyne hours.
