Supplicatioune givin in be Mr James Hameltoun, with certane others of the comissioners of the generall assemblie, in name of the traiddis and comones, redd and remitted to the comittee of fynes to tak tryell of the bygone abuses, and with powar to fyne the persones guiltie and to sett doun overtures for restraning in tyme coming; and appoynts the thesurar deputts to send to Burroustounes-ness, North Bervick, Dumbar and Eymouth to mak stop and areast all victuall that is going out of the cuntrie and the shipes, and to tak notice of the persones who are sending away the victuall, to the effect that they may be censured, punished and fyned, and ordour givin to him for that effect.
