[Order for firing the cannon of the castle]†

The estaits of parliament, having considerit upon the propositioun represented to them be the erle of Levin, lord generall, that the fyft of August did fall upon the Lord's day, and thairfoir did desyr to know whither the cannon of the castle sould be shot that day or the day eftir, the parliament doe ordaine the canon to be shot upon Monday thereftir.
