The estaits of parliament, taking to thair consideratioun that thair is the soume of [...] dew to Liuetenent Colonell Dowgall Campbell for the garisoun of Innerlochie, and finding that ther are some mantinance dew be severall persouns in the hielandis, thairfoir they have ordainit and ordanis Sir James Stewart, generall commissar, to grant precept to the said Liutenent Colonell Dowgall Campbell upon the mantinance dew be Sir James McDonald McCleud McFingone, captaine of Clanrannald, Glengarie and the rest of the boundis of Lochaber sua far as may extend to the foirsaid soume dew to the said Dowgall Campbell, and that ay and quhilk he be payit therof. And the saids estaits declairs the saids persouns to be frie from any band or oblisment which they have givin to Robert Gray of Ballon for payment of the said mantinance, and dischairgis him to exact the samyne notwithstanding of any commissioun or warrand in the contrair, and exonors the said Robert Gray at the commissar generall's handis pro tanto. And in speciall they declair the said Sir James McDonald frie of any band he hes givin for the said mantinance to Robert Gray of Ballon and ordanis him to redelyver the samyne to the said Sir James.
