The estaits of parliament, taking to their consideratioune the suplicatioun givine in to them be Margaret Home, relict of umquhile James Dowglas of Chesters, shewing that quher shoe having receavit the copie of ane ordor undir the hand of the lord chancellour for reproducing the process, with the depositiouns befoir the judges deligat, and to reteir horning aganis the Lord Ballheavine unregistrat, and sicklyk is chairgit be vertew of letters to produce hir said process and to reteir the said hornings under the paine of rebellioun and puting of hir to the horne; and albeit sho is willing in all dewtie to give obedience to the saids estaits of parliament, thair commands, yit in regaird befoir the resait of the ordor that the said horning wes registrat and so it wes not in my powar to reteir the same. Thairfoir humblie craving the saidis estaits of parliament to have consideratioun of hir sad and distressed conditioun, and in regaird the said horning is alreadie registrat and so it wes not in hir power to reteir the same, and thairfoir to frie hir from the said productioun, and that the saids estaits of parliament wold be pleasit to remitt the decisioune of what is in questioune unto the sessioune inregaird of the approach thairof, as at mair lenth is conteinit in the said suplicatioune. Quhilk being considderit be the saidis estaits of parliament, they have remittit and remitts the same suplicatioun and the desyr of the suplicant thairin conteinit to the lordis of counsall and sessioune, to be decernit be them, and ordanis both the pairties to produce thair haill ryghts befoir them. And in the meantyme, dischairgis all executioune personall and reall at the instance of aither of the saids pairties aganis uthers, and recommends to the saids lords of sessioune ayther to sattle the pairties or determine therin.
