Which is the day appointed by the act of indiction made by the committee of estates of the date 27 October 1648 for meeting of the estates of parliament in this second session of this second triennial parliament.
On the first day of parliament
The fourth parliament, and the second session of the same, of the most excellent prince Charles, by the grace of God, king of Scotland, England, France and Ireland and defender of the faith, held at Edinburgh by the estates of this kingdom, namely: the noblemen, the commissioners for the barons and the commissioners for the burghs, convened in the aforesaid second session of the second triennial parliament by virtue of the act of indiction aforesaid.
