The estates of parliament, having heard the supplication presented to them by Lieutenant Colonel Colin Campbell, for himself and on behalf of the other officers and soldiers of the laird of Lawers' regiment, read in audience of parliament, they remit that part of the supplication and desire thereof anent their quarterings to that committee appointed for quartering of the army, and remit the other part thereof anent the fitting of their accounts and putting of that regiment on an equal footing with the rest of the regiments of the kingdom to the committee for the commissary-general's accounts, to fit the accounts of the aforesaid regiment, what is duly owing to them for their bygone arrears, and to put them on an equal footing with the rest of the regiments aforesaid.
