The estates of parliament, having heard and considered the report and desire of the supplication of the parishes of Muckhart and Dollar craving payment of the 20,000 merks appointed to them by the parliament at St Andrews for their losses and desiring to be free of maintenance and quarterings within their parishes, they do hereby ordain the supplicants to be free of maintenance and quarterings for the lands and baronies of Muckhart and Dollar within the bounds thereof respectively, and discharge all quarterings upon and within the bounds thereof and inhabitants of the same, and of all exacting of maintenance money for the same lands and baronies of Muckhart and Dollar from the heritors, tenants, inhabitants and possessors of the same, for the which this act shall be a warrant.
