Warrant: for passes to London
Passes in favour of John Wood, esquire

These give warrant and pass to John Wood, esquire, for himself and John Dickman and Andrew Farmer, his two servants, with their three horses, that he and they may safely journey from this kingdom through England to London and return from there to this kingdom for doing his lawful affairs without trouble or impediment. Ordering also all the officers and soldiers of the armies of this kingdom of Scotland and all that are of their garrisons and other officers and magistrates whatsoever belonging to the kingdom of Scotland that they give free passage to the said John Wood for himself and his two servants and their three horses for their going and returning to the effect above-specified and not to trouble nor molest him therein, for the which this act shall be a sufficient warrant to the effect above-mentioned.
