After divine exercise, rolls called.
The estates of parliament, now convened in the fifth session of this first triennial parliament, considering the uncertainty the whole lieges stand in anent the place where to find the signet, clerk of the bills, writers to the great and privy seals, keepers of the seals and director of the chancellery, clerks of exchequer and other public officers necessary for the use of the lieges, they, in respect thereof, ordain the aforesaid persons having charge, their deputes and necessary servants to proceed here to St Andrews where the present session of parliament now sits, and to attend there for the service and dispatch of the lieges in their several charges and offices respectively and that during the sitting of this present session of parliament at St Andrews, and ordain the said several persons in their several charges and places above-written, with their deputes and necessary servants and writers to the signet, to proceed here to St Andrews with all convenience to the effect above-specified, and ordain proclamation to be made hereof at the market cross of St Andrews.
