The estates of parliament, upon representation to them from the committee for dispatches that the sheriffdom of Aberdeen was not able to provide arms to the eight men appointed to be put out by that shire in respect they were spoiled and their whole arms taken from them by the Irish rebels, order the aforesaid last levy appointed to be put out by the sheriffdom of Aberdeen to be furnished with arms out of the public magazine upon the surety for the same to the public from the sheriffdom of Aberdeen, and the estates remit the consideration of the arms lost by that shire to the committee appointed for the losses.
