The estates of parliament, having heard and considered the supplication of Colonel Laurence Blair given in to the committee appointed for regulating of processes, with the modification granted to him by that committee whereby the committee has modified to him 30s Scots daily for his subsistence from 26 September 1643 to 5 July 1644 for his maintenance, according to the proportion formerly allowed by the committee of estates, as the same under the hand of [William Hamilton], earl of Lanark, president of that committee, purports; the said estates give warrant and command to William Thomson, their commissary depute, to make payment to the said Colonel Laurence Blair of the said modification of 30s Scots daily from the said 26 September 1643 until 5 July 1644 inclusive modified to him by the said committee for his maintenance, for the which this act shall be a sufficient warrant.
