[Alexander Livingstone], earl of Linlithgow protested that the aforesaid commission granted to [Archibald Campbell], marquis of Argyll nor no power contained in that particular commission should prejudice the duke of Lennox of his right of admiralty, lieutenancy and justiciary by sea nor no others having right thereto.
