The convention ordains [Alexander Leslie, earl of Leven], lord general, to deliver to Alexander Gray these six minion† brass guns, with the two field pieces agreed upon by the committee appointed for taking course anent the equipping of ships, as the same shall be particularly designed by the said committee, for the which this act shall be to the lord general a sufficient warrant.
