Legislation
Act for printing the declaration of the assembly

The estates presently convened, having read and considered the remonstrance given in to them by the commissioners from the general assembly, as they do return hearty thanks to the commissioners of the assembly for their timely advertisement in matters of so great importance, so, to the effect the same may be better made known to all the members of this convention and they thereby more enabled to give their resolution in that particular matter, ordain the same to be forthwith printed, and that this be a warrant to his majesty's printer for that effect.

The estates recommend to the commissioners of the general assembly to give warrant for translating in English that letter written in Latin to them from the classes in Shetland; and that both the Latin and English copies may be printed.
