[Report of the committee to consider the business regarding the Prince Elector Palatine approved; ammunition to be sent to Ireland; powers of the commissioners to be appointed for the kirk]

Report made by the committee appointed for [Charles Louis], Prince Elector [Palatine] regarding the levy of 10,000 men read, voted and passed in parliament.

The king's majesty moved that some course may be taken for transporting some ammunition from Dumbarton to the castle of Kilmore in Ireland, and the parliament commits and refers this business to [Alexander Leslie, earl of Leven], lord general, [Archibald Campbell], earl of Argyll, and [Colonel Alexander Hamilton], general of the artillery, whom they appoint to speak with his majesty herein, and to do as they think expedient.

It being moved by the commissioners for the kirk if the commissioners to be appointed for the kirk shall have power to go beneath the quantity of eight chalders of victual or 800 merks upon just reasonable and expedient causes, according to the former commission; and the same being voted in parliament, it was found that the commissioners shall have power to go beneath the quantity of eight chalders of victual or 800 merks upon just reasonable and expedient causes, according to the former commission.

[Refusal to deal with newly submitted business; committee to be appointed for taking inspection of the processes of those cited to parliament; continuation]

Appoints no new motions to be hereafter moved in parliament but such as have been made heretofore.

Appoints the estates to meet separately at 2 o'clock, that the committee may go to the king; and at their meeting appoints every estate to condescend upon three of their number to be a committee for taking inspection of the processes against all those who are cited to the parliament (except the five prime incendiaries and plotters) and to report the same to the parliament upon Monday.

Appoints the parliament to meet tomorrow at 10 o'clock.
