Supplication by [Ludovic Lindsay], earl of Crawford, desiring to be put to liberty upon caution to compear before the king and parliament when he shall be required, or that some further legal course may be taken for his trial, read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, who remit this supplication and desire thereof to the consideration of the committee appointed for accommodation.

[Business regarding the bridge of Berwick remitted to certain members; various overtures and supplication remitted to each estate and the lord advocate]

Supplication to the king's majesty by the mayor, bailies and burgesses of Berwick, desiring some timber for repairing their bridge and that some new built gates and platforms may stand, and that two or three iron pieces may be permitted to remain there for safety of their ships, read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, who appoint [William Kerr], earl of Lothian to give directions to Robert Murray, general quartermaster, that he may go to Berwick to review the particulars mentioned in this petition and report again to the parliament. And in his going, that he take along with him [Sir John Home], laird of Blackadder, [John Ramsay of] Edington and [John Renton of] Lamberton, or any of them, and the Earl of Lothian is desired to acquaint the English commissioner herewith.

Overtures for the north read in audience of his majesty and parliament, who appoint a copy thereof to be delivered to the several estates and also to [Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall], king's advocate.

Overtures from the committee nominated for the bridge of Tay read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, who appoint a duplicate thereof to be given to every estate and also to the king's advocate.

Supplication by David Durie, craving reparation of the losses sustained by him the time of these troubles, read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, who appoint the same to be given to the king's advocate that he may deliver the same to [William Hamilton, earl of Lanark], secretary, to be presented to his majesty.

Supplication by [Sir Robert Adair], laird of Kinhilt and another by David Lisk, craving reparation of their losses sustained in Ireland etc., read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, who appoint the same to be given to the king's advocate that he may deliver the same to the secretary to be presented to his majesty.

Supplication by Alexander Cunningham, craving reparation of his damages sustained by his imprisonment at London, read in audience of his majesty and parliament, who appoint the same to be given to the king's advocate that he may deliver the same to the secretary to be presented to his majesty.

[Supplication read; act in favour of the town of Dornoch approved; continuation]

Supplication by the town of Selkirk, craving repetitions of some monies paid to General Major Munro's soldiers, read in audience of his majesty and parliament.

Act in favour of the town of Dornoch, changing their fair from the day contained in their erection to the [...] day of [...] yearly, read, voted and passed in parliament.

Appoints the several estates to meet this afternoon at 3 o'clock and also the committee for accommodation, the committee for the bills, the committee for the kirk and the several bodies tomorrow at 8 o'clock, and the parliament at 10 o'clock.
