Continues the parliament until Tuesday next at 2 o'clock after noon, and in the meantime appoints the several bodies to meet apart this afternoon at 3 o'clock, upon Monday at 8 o'clock in the morning and 3 o'clock after noon, and upon Tuesday at 8 o'clock in the morning.

Act dismembering the parish of Kilmarnock and erecting the new parish kirk of Kilmarnock read, voted and passed in parliament.

Petition by Henry Stewart, craving a letter of recommendation to the parliament of England for reparation of the great losses sustained by him in Ireland for refusing the oath, read in audience of his majesty and parliament, who think fitting to recommend this supplication in their names to the English commissioners present in town; and for doing thereof nominate [John Campbell, lord Loudoun], lord chancellor, and [Charles Seton], earl of Dunfermline.

Supplication by [Hector Bannatyne], laird of Kames, desiring that a decreet given against him being commissioner to the parliament in the time of the parliament may be found null and he restored against the same, read and granted.

Dispensation to [Sir William Elphinstone], justice, for holding court upon Archibald Campbell for slaughter read and granted.

Report regarding Master Thomas Mitchell, being heard together with [Sir George Ogilvie of] Banff's defences upon the act of pacification, and treaty and replies made thereto, being read in audience of his majesty and parliament, they appoint [John Kennedy], earl of Cassilis, [Sir William Forbes], laird of Craigievar and John Semple [of Stainflett] to meet and think upon the extent of the treaty and oblivion, if the same will defend Banff from this complaint.

Grants commission to [John Lindsay], lord Lindsay, [James Elphinstone, lord] Coupar and [George Forrester, lord] Forrester for the nobility, [Sir Robert Adair], laird of Kinhilt, [Hugh Campbell of] Cessnock and [Sir John Moncreiffe of] Moncreiffe for the barons, [John Semple of Stainflett], commissioner of Dumbarton, [Master Alexander Douglas of Downies, commissioner for] Banff and [John Osborne, commissioner for] Ayr for the burghs, or any five of them, to examine the witnesses produced by William Cunningham of Polton against [Alexander Stewart], earl of Galloway, to meet after noon at 2 o'clock.

Regarding the supplication presented by General Major [William] Baillie against [Sir William Baillie], laird of Lamington, appoints Lamington to be ready to answer thereto upon the first day which is appointed for hearing bills.

Commission for hearing [Master Alexander Gibson of Durie], commissary-general's accounts read, voted and passed in parliament, and every estate was required to cause their own commissioners to attend.
