[King's nomination of officers of state, council and session remitted to each estate]

The king being present.

The king's majesty exhibited the list of his councillors and officers of state, whom he nominates for these charges, and agreed therein that the number of his councillors should not exceed 52, both officers of state and other councillors. The duplicate of which paper was given to every estate to be advised upon until tomorrow, and for that effect they are appointed to meet among themselves at 2 o'clock after noon.
