Ratification in favour of [George Aitken of Underedge], laird of Aitken

Our sovereign lord and estates of parliament ratify and approve the tack set by the late James Baillie, as archpriest of Dunbar, with consent of the dean and other prebendaries of the college kirk of Dunbar and of George [Home], earl of Dunbar, as patron thereof, to William Lauder in Belhaven and Alexander Lauder, his son, their heirs and assignees, for the spaces and years expressed therein, of all and whole the small teinds and teind fishings pertaining to the said archpriest within the bounds and for the duty expressed in the said tack, which is of the date [...] June 1609, with the assignations and rights thereof made by the said William Lauder and Alexander Lauder, his son, and other intervening persons, in favour of George Aitken of Underedge, his heirs and assignees; together also with the confirmation of the said tack under his majesty's privy seal in favour of the said George Aitken and his foresaids, of the date 3 March 1632, in the whole heads, points and articles thereof. And will that this present ratification shall be as effectual to the said George Aitken and his foresaids as if the said tack and whole writs above-specified were particularly inserted, concerning which his majesty and estates dispense for ever.
