Act in favour of [Charles Louis], Prince Elector Palatine

The which day the king's majesty and estates of parliament, having taken to their consideration the manifest made by his majesty and estates of parliament in favour of the Prince Elector Palatine, with his majesty's royal care that the condition of his nephew might be taken into consideration before the dissolving of this present parliament, have therefore statute and ordained that there be 10,000 foot levied, victualled and transported to what rendezvous in Germany shall be thought expedient for the Prince Elector's service, and that upon the charges of this kingdom and this upon the terms of particular instructions to be given in this purpose to the commissioners who are to be appointed to go into England to treat with the parliament of England regarding the remainder of the treaty.
