Procedure: licence granted
Licence to General [Patrick] Ruthven for his return to his dwelling house of the Yair

The which day the supplication presented to the parliament for General Ruthven, craving liberty to return to his house and dwelling of the Yair, being read in audience of the king's majesty and parliament and the desire thereof considered by them, his majesty and estates of parliament grant liberty to the said General Ruthven to return to his house and dwelling of the Yair, and to repair and resort within the parish where the said dwelling house lies until his majesty and estates of parliament signify their further pleasure relating thereto.

Warrant
Warrant for [Robert Maxwell], earl of Nithsdale returning to his own dwellings within the kingdom

The which day his majesty represented to the estates of parliament that he had abstained to give permission to the Earl of Nithsdale to repair to his own house within the kingdom upon misinformation that he was forfeited, but seeing he is not forfeited, his majesty desired the advice of the parliament therein, who thought that his majesty might permit the said earl to repair to his own dwellings within this kingdom.

Procedure: continuation of parliament

The king's majesty and estates adjourn and continue the parliament to Tuesday next at 10 o'clock before noon and straitly command all the members of parliament then to be present, and ordain the several bodies to meet this afternoon at 3 o'clock that they may go to their several committees.
