Ordinance in favour of [John Chisholm], laird of Cromlix

The which day the supplication given in to the parliament by John Chisholm of Cromlix desiring that the gift of his ward and marriage, falling by decease of the late James Chisholm of Cromlix, brother to the supplicant, might be conveyed in the supplicant's own favour freely without any composition, seeing his late brother was employed in the public service as a captain and contracted his sickness at Newcastle and died at Kelso, being read, and the desire and truth thereof considered, the king's majesty and estates of parliament, ordains [Sir James Carmichael], treasurer depute, and lords of exchequer to pass the foresaid gift above-mentioned in favour of the supplicant or any others to his benefit whom he shall desire, and that freely without any composition to be paid thereof.

Ordinance in favour of the creditors of [William Alexander], earl of Stirling

The which day the supplication given in by the creditors of [William Alexander], earl of Stirling to the parliament, desiring advocation of some process intended by some particular persons before the sheriffs of Stirling, Clackmannan and [...] for the reasons contained in their supplications, being read in audience of the king's majesty and estates of parliament, his majesty and estates foresaid grant the desire of the same supplication.
