Ordinance in favour of [John Kerr of] Lochtour

The which day the estates of parliament, having read and considered the supplication given in to them by the Laird of Lochtour craving delivery of his signature, and that the composition thereof, which is in Master Patrick Brown's hands, may be received from him by [Sir James Carmichael], treasurer depute, the said estates, after report made by the president of the committee for the bills regarding the foresaid supplication, ordain the foresaid treasurer depute to receive the composition of the signature of Lochtour's escheat from Master Patrick Brown and to grant the reset thereof, and to deliver the foresaid signature to the supplicant.
