The lords commissioners foresaid of parliament continue this present parliament and all summons, actions, causes, petitions and other matters whatsoever belonging thereto to 23 July next, with continuation of days, to be held then at Edinburgh or where it shall happen his majesty and his highness's privy council to appoint by open proclamation, and ordain the whole estates of parliament to attend thereupon the said day and place under the pains contained in the acts of parliament made relating thereto. Whereupon the said Sir Thomas Hope [of Craighall], advocate to our sovereign lord, in his highness's name, asked instruments.
