The same day his majesty and estates of parliament, being convened in the parliament house, the court of parliament being fenced and the suits called, his majesty, the clergy and nobility passed out of the parliament house and his majesty retired to the inner great room of the exchequer house, the clergy to the little exchequer house and the nobility to the inner house where the lords of session sit; and they being sat, the said noblemen elected for the clergy the persons underwritten to be upon the articles, namely:
