Regarding those who do not subscribe the submissions

Regarding the proposition made to the estates by commissioners of the shires (and which was assisted by [Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall], his majesty's advocate) what course shall be taken with those who have not subscribed the general submissions made to his majesty, seeing his majesty, by his proclamations, has declared his intention that every heritor shall have the right of his own teind, the estates having heard the proposition and being advised therewith, they remit the same proposition and the course and order to be taken relating thereto to his majesty's royal judgement and consideration.

Regarding the frequent repair to court

Regarding the grievance given in by the commissioners of the shires touching the frequent repair of the subjects to court, to the undoing of the kingdom, and who by misleading information to his majesty desire the course of justice to be inverted in the ordinary courts and judicatures of the kingdom, the estates having heard and considered the grievance, they agree that his majesty shall be petitioned to remit all such parties who shall importune his majesty in this kind to their ordinary judges at home to the intent justice may be indifferently administered to both parties, wherein if any party shall have just cause to complain of delay or want of justice that then his majesty may take such course relating thereto as in his excellent judgement he shall find fitting.

Commission regarding the articles for the fishing

The estates nominate and appoint and therewithal give commission and warrant to [John Leslie], earl of Rothes, [George Seton, earl of] Winton, [John Lyon, earl of] Kinghorn and [John Stewart, earl of] Carrick, [William Douglas], viscount of Drumlanrig, [James Ross], lord Ross, [John Campbell, lord] Loudoun, [Robert Balfour, lord Balfour of] Burleigh and [John Wemyss, lord] Wemyss, Sir Robert Gordon [of Gordonstoun], knight baronet, the lairds [Alexander Erskine] of Dun, [James Lyon of] Auldbar, [Sir James Lockhart of] Lee, younger, [William Drummond of] Riccarton, [Robert Forbes of] Rires, [Sir Alexander Strachan of] Thornton, [Sir Alexander Nisbet of] West Nisbet and John Erskine of Balgonie, together with such of the burghs as shall be directed to that effect, to convene and meet tomorrow at 7 o'clock in the morning and to confer and reason upon the patent granted to [Alexander Livingstone], earl of Linlithgow for making of powder and to consider of the best and most effectual means how the said patent may receive execution.

Regarding the Dunkirkers

Regarding the article given in by the burghs touching the decay of their trade and shipping occasioned by the Dunkirkers, and the estates having seen the roll given in by the burghs containing the number of the ships taken from them, the said estates find fit and ordain that his majesty shall be petitioned to consider the deplorable estate of the country upon the occasion foresaid, and that his majesty would be graciously pleased to provide some way and means how his majesty's subjects may be protected in their safe and peaceable trading.
