The estats of parlement etc. hes nominated and appointed the earle of Eglintoun, the vicount of Arbuthnot, the lairds of Brodie and Pollok, Sir James Stuart and George Porterfeild, or most pairt therof, to be a committee for taking in consideratioun the supplicatioun givin in be the laird of Lawers and for thinking upon the best way and most effectuall how the soumes that shall be found dew to him may be satisfied, and to report thair opinion in wryt, that therefter the parlement may doe therin as they shall think most fitting.
