The estates of parliament hes ratified and approven and be thir presentis ratifies and approves the remissioune granted be Generall Leiutennent Leslie to Malcolme McPhersone of Ardbrylock and James McPhersone, his sone, thair tennentis, freindis and followeris, whairof the tennor followis: By Generall Leiutennent Leslie. Whairas the persones eftirspeit, viz: Malcome McPhersone of Ardbrylok, James McPhersone, his sone, thair tennentis, freindis and followeris, hath bene in the laite rebellione, and now are not only content to reconceill themselves to the kirk and estates of this kingdome, bot also to endeavor the good of both in tyme cumeing, these are frielie to remitt and pardone the saidis persones of all than can be layd to ther chairge heiranent, they behaveing thameselves heirefter as good and honest patriottis. Gevin at Castelturrim, the 16th day of August 1647. Sic subscribitur, David Leslie; in the haill heidis therof abonewrittin and conforme to the tennor of the samyne in all poyntis, and doe heirby interpone the authoritie of parliament therto, and ordaines the samyne to have the force and strenth of ane act of parliament, and to be valyde and effectuall to the saidis Malcome McPhersone, James McPhersone, his sone, ther tennentis, freindis and followeris, conforme to the tennor therof in all poyntis.
