Ratification in favors of Mr Thomas Hendirsone, advocat

The estates of parliament, now conveened in this sext session of the first trienniall parliament, ratifies and approves the gift granted be his majestie to Mr Thomas Hendirsone, advocat, of the date at Newcastle, the tuentie sext of December jM vjC fourtie sex yeirs, quherby his majestie for the causes therinmentioned hes made, constitut and ordanit the said Mr Thomas Hendirsone during all the dayis of his lyiftyme to be joynt justice deput with Mr Alexander Colvill of Blair, present generall justice deput, during all the dayis of the lyiftyme of the said Mr Alexander, reserving to the said Mr Alexander during his said lyiftyme all fies, commodities, casualities and uthers quhatsomevir perteining to the said place of justice deput. And alse quherby his majestie hes nominat the said Mr Thomas Hendirsone during all the dayis of his said lyiftyme, eftir the deceis of the said Mr Alexander Colvill, to be justice deput to his majestie, and hes given, granted and disponit to him during all the dayis of his said lyiftyme as said is the whole liberties, priviledges, fies, commodities and uther casualities dew to the said place bruiked by the said Mr Alexander Colvill, with power to the said Mr Thomas to use and exerce the said place of justice deput to his majesties lieges in all causes whiche concerne the said place of justiciarie, and that joyntlie with the said Mr Alexander during all the dayis of the said Mr Alexander, his said lyiftyme, or severallie be himselfe as justice deput, succeiding to the said Mr Alexander to the place of the said justice deput brooked by him as said is, togidder with all liberties and priviledges of deputatioune and uthers contenit in the gift granted to the said Mr Alexander of before, whiche, by the foresaid gift, ar haldin as exprest. As alse the yeirlie pension of ane hundereth punds sterling granted by his majestie to the said Mr Thomas during all the dayis of his said lyiftyme for exerceing and discharging of the said office, payable at twa termes in the yeir, Whitsonday and Mertimes in winter, be equall portiounes by his majesties high thesaurer, comptrollor and collector generall and ther under receavers present and wha sall happine to be for the tyme, furth of the readiest of his majesties rentis, revenues and patrimonie of the said kingdome and casualities therunto belonging, beginand the first termes payment therof at Mertimes jM vjC fourtie sex yeirs and sua furth yeirlie and termlie intymcomeing during all the dayis of the said Mr Thomas, his said lyiftyme. Reserving to Mr James Robertoune of Bedlay his gift of the said office of justice deput, fies and casualities belonging therto during his lyiftyme in all and sundrie the headis, pointis, clauses, articles, circumstances and conditions therincontenit and eftir the forme and tennor therof in all pointis. And it is heirby declared that this present ratificatioune of the said gift is and salbe alse effectuall and sufficient to the said Mr Thomas Henrysone for bruiking and joysing of the said office, fies and casualities therto belonging during all the dayis of his said lyiftyme as if the said gift had bene granted be his majestie to him in open face of parliament.
