Act vicount of Dudhope

The estates of parliament, haveing tane to there consideration the report of that committie appointed for reveising and considering of the bills and suplicatiounes presented to the parliament concerning the suplication of Johne, vicount of Dudhope for subsistence and reparatioune of his loissies and exemption fra payment of monethlie mantenance and uther publict dewis of his lands within the shirefdome of Forfar, at the least that the payment therof may be suspendit quhill the reparatioune of his loisses, the saidis estates of parliament modifies and allowis the sowme of ane thousand pund sterling to be given to the said Johne, vicount of Dudhope for his present subsistence and towardis the reparatioune of his loisses, extending the samen loisses to the sowme of thriescore thousand punds Scots or therby, quhilk sowme of ane thousand pund sterling before modified the estates of parliament ordanis to be given and payed to the said Johne, vicount of Dudhope, or to anie haveand his power and warrand to ressave the same, out of the last ane hundereth thousand pund sterling dew and payable be the parliament and kingdome of England to this kingdome. And for this effect the saids estates of parliament doe heirby grant richt and assignement to the said Johne, vicount of Dudhope for the foresaid sowme of ane thousand pund sterling to be payed to him, or anie haveand his power and warrand as said is, out of the aforesaid last ane hundereth thousand pund sterling payable be the kingdome of England to this kingdome. And, for the more readie and tymeous payment of the said ane thousand pund sterling abonespecefeit, the saids estates of parliament be thir presentis grantis precept and warrand for payment of that sowme of ane thousand pund sterling to the said Johne, vicount of Dudhope, or to anie haveand his power and warrand to receave the same, out of the aforesaid last ane hundereth thousand pund sterling abonementioned payable be the kingdome of England to this kingdome as said is, and that upon the said vicount of Dudhope or anie haveand his power and warrand to receave the foresaid sowme, ther discharge therof, whose discharge of the same the estates declares salbe ane sufficient warrand and exoneration to the payers therof and to all others interest or that may be concerned therintill.
