Order: in favour of Alexander Johnston and Malcolm Fleming

The estates of parliament, upon the petition of Alexander Jonstoune and Malcome Flemyng, burgess of Edinburgh, and Robert Tailyeor, merchand in Montroise, schewing that certane packis of cloathe and merchand waire of theirs wer takine and detenit be the customers of Berwick, notwithstanding they did offer to pay the custome dew, therfore ordanis these formarlie appointed to speik with the English commissionars to represent the petition foresaid to them and that the parliament of this kingdome tak speciall notice therof and that therfore the commissioners wald wryte effectuallie in the behalfe of the petitioners to the customers of Bervick for redelyverie to them of ther saids guidis.
