The estates of parliament ordanis these thriescore souldiors that wer formarlie of the lord chancellor's regiment and these fourtie souldiors who wer of the erle of Cassillis' regiment and ar now bothe put to the generall of artilliaries regiment by the new modell to have ane monethis pay, extending at tua pairt Scotis pay to the sowme of thrie hundereth thriescore pundis Scotis for these thriescore souldiors formarlie of the lord chancellor's regiment, and to the sowme of tua hundereth and fourtie punds for these fourtie souldiors wha wer formarlie of the erle of Cassillis' regiment, quhilkis tua sowmes the saidis estates doe heirby ordane to be payit to the saidis thriescore and fourtie souldiors respective abonedesigned as followis, viz: ordanis the foresaid sowme of thrie hundereth thriescore pundis Scotis to be payed to the thriescore souldiors of the lord chancellor's regiment out of the first monethis mantenance of Clakmannan shyre, and ordanis the uther sowme of tua hundereth and fourtie pundis to be likewise payed to these fourtie souldiers of the erle of Cassillis' regiment out of the said mantenance of the shirefdome of Forfar, quheranent thir presentis salbe ane warrand.
