The estates of parliament, taking to there consideration the suplication of Mr Thomas Hendersone, secretarie to the erle of Leaven, lord generall, and clerk to the committie resideing with the Scotis armie in England, desyring that order may be given for adjusting his accomptis and giving him satisfaction of so muche of his arreares according to his establishment in his respective charges as the parliament sould judge expedient, and to declare the remander therof to be a publict debt to be satisfied to the suplicant, the saidis estates doe heirby seriouslie recommend the suplicant, with his suplication and desire therof abonementioned, to the committie with the armie, to give ordour for adjusting the suplicantis accomptis and giving him satisfaction for so muche of his arreares according to his establishment in his respective charges as that committie sall judge expedient, and declaring the remainder whiche sall not be payit to be a just and publict debt to be satisfied to the suplicant as the committie sall think fitt.
