Act in favors of the erle of Tullibardine

Anent the suplicatioune given in to the estates of parliament, quherof the tenor followis: Wnto the right honorable the high court of parliament, the humble suplicatioune of James, erle of Tullibardine, sheweth whairas be diverse actis of parliament and committie evir since the begining of the troubles he hathe evir bene commanded to attend a charge in your service within this countrey, quherby he was still impedit from repairing to his charge in England whiche utherwayis he was evir most readie and willing to have done, quhairfore now his humble desire to your lo[rdships] is that ye wilbe pleased to ordane him to have his proportion of the moneyis now comeing to our armie, whiche desire your lo[rdships] hathe formarlie granted to uthers in that same condition, and your lo[rdships] answer. Quhilk suplicatioune being red in audience of the parliament, and the samen, with the desire therof, considered be the estates of parliament, they doe heirby grant the desire abonewrittin of the foresaid suplicatioune as most just and be thir presentis seriouslie recommendis the same to the commissionaris that goes to Newcastle, and ordanis them to compt with the suplicant for what is dew and to pay accordinglie as anie uther colonell of the armie, quheranent thir presentis salbe a sufficient warrand.
