The estates of parliament nominatis and appointis the marques of Argyle, the laird of Duffus and Mr Robert Farquhar, with the thesaurer of the armie, to considder the desire of the letter direct to the parliament from the gentlemen and ministrie within the shirefdome and toun of Innernes, with power to them to call for Archbald Syidserfe and try what victuall hes bene sent to Innernes and to tak tryell what victuall hes bene furneist to that toun be the countrey about. With power also to them to call anie they please to give them trew information and advyce anent the condition of the toune of Innernes and to report the samen with ther opinion therof to the parliament.
