The estates of parliament nominatis and appointis the erles of Sutherland, Buchan, Hadington and Sowthesk for the noblemen, Halkertoun, Adie, Lag and Blacader for the barrones, David Douglas, Robert Bell, David Symsone and David Spence for the burrowis, to be ane committie for reveising and considdering of the actis of the committie of estates, proces and moneyis since the last session of parliament at St Androis and to report the samen with ther opinion theranent to the parliament, and for ressaveing in, thinking and condiscending upon sick overtors for making new actis and lawis as they sall think expedient, and to call for his majesties advocat and the procurators of estate, ther advyce, and eftir consideration to reject or represent the samen overtors and actis to the parliament as the said committie or quorum therof eftirspecefeit sall think fitting, but prejudice to the pairtie, ingiver of the saidis overtors rejected be the said committie, to offer the samen to the parliament's consideration. And ordains the lord chancellour and president of parliament to be supernumerarie in this and all uther committies of parliament, and appointis the quorum to be sevin, thair being tua of ilk estate. And the estates declares that anie member of parliament sall have access and libertie to represent anie overtor that is fitting. And appointis the place of meitting of this committie to be in the auld session hous.
