Right honorable, we have considered your demaundis and instructions sent over with Capitan Drummond, to whiche we have given suche answers as we hoip wilbe satisfactorie, and have sent the lord marques of Argyle, James McDowell of Garthland and Johne Kennedie, provest of Air, to yow with suche propositions as we conceave fitting for our service, to whome we desire yow to give full trust in anie thing that salbe proponed by them to yow concerneing that armie and the service whiche so muche concerneth the well of this kingdome, wherin we expect your readie concurrence; and so we rest.
