The quhilk day the compt underwrittin, with the report from the committie for dispatches thairanent, quhairof the tenor followis: Moneyis dew to the remanent officers of the erle of Lauderdale's regiment for thair service within the kingdome of Scotland fra the 15 of September 1644 to the 15 of August 1645. Item, dew to Major George Wynrahame ellevin monethis pay, viz: as major 200 merks and as capitan 100 lib. per mensem; with sevin capitanes, viz: Captain Alexander Inglis, Captain Johne Touris, Captain James Baillie, Captain David Foullis, Captain Lodovick Maitland, Captain Francis Wauchope [and] Captain Johne Fouller at 100 lib. ilk capitan per mensem; thrie lieutenants, viz: Lieutenant Niniane Hamiltoune, Lieutenant Adam Strudgeon and Lieutenant Patrik Ramsay at fourtie fyve punds ilk lieutenant per mensem; thrie ensignes, viz: George Prymrose, William Blair and Philip Nisbet at threttie sex punds Scotis ilk ensigne per mensem; thrie serjands, viz: Thomas Murray, Johne Blair and Robert Graham at fyiftene punds ilk serjand per mensem; and ane quarter master, viz: William Hall at fourtie fyve punds Scotis per mensem, extendis in the haill to 13,929 lib. 13 sh. 4 d. Scottis, off the quhilk sowme foresaid thair is payit the moneyis eftir following, viz: to the said major thrie monethis pay at tua pairt pay, viz: as major 88 lib. 17 sh. 4 d. and as capitan 66 lib. 13 sh. 4 d. per mensem; with the foresaid sevin capitans for thrie monethis at 100 merks ilk capitan per mensem; thrie lieutenuents, quhairof tua for thrie monethis and ane, viz: Adam Strudgeon, four monethis at 30 lib. ilk lieutenant per mensem; thrie ensignes, quhairof tua lykewyse for thrie monethis and ane, viz: George Prymrose for foure monethis and sex punds farder to ane accompt at 24 lib. ilk ensigne per mensem; thrie serjands for thrie monethis at ten pund ilk serjand per mensem; and the quarter master for the space of thrie monethis at threttie punds per mensem, extending in the haill to the sowme of 2,592 lib. 12 sh. Quhilk being deducit, thair restis awand to the saidis officers by and attoure thair English pay the sowme of xjM iijC xxxvij lib. j s. iiij d. Sic subscribitur, J. Hepburne, 14 Januar 1646. The committie of dispatches conceave that the sowmes particularlie abonementioned sould be declared publict debt restand by the kingdome to the persones respective abonewrittin, and that they sould have precept for payment thairof. Being publictlie red in parliament in audience of the estates, thairof now conveened in this fyift session of the first trienniall parliament, they doe heirby approve and allow of the foresaid accompt and of the opinion abonewrittin of the committee of dispatches thairanent, and heirby declares the said sowme of xjM iijC xxxvij lib. j s. iiij d. to be publict debt restand be the kingdome to the persones respective abonenamit, and thairfore ordaines the samen sowme to be payit to the persones respective foresaids to whome the samen is dew in maner before rehearsit, and doe heirby grant precept and warrand for payment thairof to them.
