Anent the articles exhibite in parliament in favours of Thomas Cunyngham, it is ordeaned that command and warrand be presentlie granted to Archbald Prymerose, Johne Achesone or any persones quhatsomevir haveres in thair handes of the bandes granted for the armes delyvered to the gentrie and shyres to delyver the saides bandes to Mr Robert Dallgleishe, whom the estates of parliament also commandes to sute executione thairwpoun presentlie for the behoofe of Thomas Cunynghame. And als it is ordeaned that instructione be presentlie givine to Scotscraige for getting order from the comittie and generall commisar of the Scotse army to the comittie at Goldsmyth Hall in Londoun to ansuer Thomas Cunyughame 5,000 lib. sterline or thairby, and they shallbe supplied with the lyke proportione hence in victuell or other commodities. But it is declaired that the samene ordinance is allwayes without prejudice of the act made in favoures of the sherreffdomes of Berwicke and Roxburghe anent the amunitione furnished to them be the publict and band givine thairwpoun, quhairby it is appoynted that the pryce of the armes it is to be allowed to the shyres in these soumes awand to them be the publict. And farder anent the 3 articles, agreed that ane lettir of encouragement be writtin from the parliament to the said Thomas for this effect. Item, to the fourt article craveing that the erle of Linlithgow would freith the shipe and goodes at Dumbartan, the parliament remittes the same to the comittie of estates. Item, anent the fyfte article, the parliament grantes the same and ordeaned Archbald Sydserfe to give to the Lord Naper ane dischairge for the soume of ten thousand pundes. The estates, haveing debated whither or not thair shall be any additione made to the nomber of these who wer formerlie nominate to treat with the commissiouners in England, doe find efter voyceing that thair shall be no additione for the present.
