The estates of parliament, now conveened in the second sessione of this present parliament be vertue of the last act of the last parliament haldine be his majestie and thrie estates in anno 1641, haveing heard and considdered the ordinance of the committie for dispatches off the tuentie fourt of Februar last ordeaneing James Riddell then presentlie to delyver to Sir James Ballfour fourtie tuo dolloures for provyding the coates of armes of the persones foirfaulted which were to be torne, and for the said Sir James, his fies, the said committie would advyse with the parliament how the same may be payed out of the estates of the foirfaulted persones; the estates of parliament remitts and recommendes to the committie of estates reseiding at Edinburgh the last pairt of the ordinance abovementionat anent the said Sir James Balfoure, his fies, to be tane in consideratioune be the committie of estates and to doe thairanent as they shall thinke just and reasounable for the said Sir James, his payment and satisfactione of his fies.
