The estates of parliament haveing heard and considdered the petitione presented to them be Sir Johne Chartours of Amisfeild, knyght, desyreing that his confynement within the toune of Edinburgh may be enlarged to him for some myles aboute the toune, as the supplicatione proportes, the estates of parliament dispenss with the said Sir Johne Chartores of Amisfeild, supplicant, his confynement to be within the toune of Edinburgh and sex myles aboute the same, and be thir presentes enlarges his restraint and former confynement to be within the toun of Edinburgh and within sex myles theraboute, and grantes him libertie within that boundis; and in the meanetyme ordeanes his cautione allreddie fund to stand for his confynement within Edinburgh and sex myles aboute the samene wnprejudged be this enlargement.
