Protestatione for the erle of Callender

Maister Androw Oiswall, advocat, protestit in name of James, erle of Callender and for him that the calling of Alexander, erle of Levene before him doe not prejudge the erle of Callender of his due place of precedencie before the said erle of Leven. And Mr James Baird, advocat for the erle of Leven, protestit in the contrair.

Protestatione for the Lord Borthuike

Johne, lord Borthuike protested that the enrolling and calling of the Lord Sinclaire before him prejudge not him of his right and precedencie before the Lord Sinclare. And Johne, lord Sinclare, personallie present, protested in the contrare.

Protestatione for the burroues

Sir Johne Smythe, proveist of Edinburgh, protestit for the burrowes aganes the commissioner for the stewartrie of Kirkecudbright that he should not have voyce in parliament as commissioner for the stewartrie. And the commissioner of the stewartrie of Kirkecudbryt protested in the contraire.
