Judiciall act of submission be James Sinclair, John Adamsone and Niniane Nivine

Anent the supplicatione givine in to the estates of parliament, presentlie conveend by vertue of the last act of the last parliament haldine by his matie and thrie estates in anno 1641, be Niniane Nivine in Poindhous in Zetland aganes James Sinclare of Scalloway and Johne Edmestoune, makand mentione of a persut at ther instance before the secreet counsell aganes the said Niniane Nivine and of the cautioune fund be the said Niniane Nivine therintill for his compeirance before the secreet counsell for the alledged crymes conteyned in the supplicatione or complaint depending theranent; and therfore desyreing libertie to the said Niniane to repaire home to Zetland for doeing of his laufull bussines there, sieing he is content wpoun laufull citatione ather to compeir and ansuer before the secreet counsell or befor the commissionares to be appoynted for setling the effaires in Zetland, as the supplicatioune proportes. Quhilke supplicatione and pairties abovenamed being this day motioned and called in audience of the parliament, compeired personally in presents of the saides estates of parliament the saides James Sinclaire and Johne Edmestoune for themselves one the ane pairt, and als compeired personally the said Niniane Nivine for himself one the other pairt, and baith the saides pairties sua personally present submitted the foirsaid complant and persut depending betuixt them before the secreet counsell and all otheres actiones, materes and questiones both criminall and civill betuixt the saids pairtes, and quhilkes they or ony of them hes or can lay to otheres chairges for whatsomevir cause or occasione bygone to the arbitriment and determinatione of Williame, erle of Mortoun and anie he shall call to himselfe, and baith the pairties personally present obleist themselfes hinc inde to wnderly, obtemper and fullfill the decreit and determinatione to be givine heirwpoun conforme to the tennor therof without appellatione therefra. Lykeas the said Williame, erle of Mortoun, being personally present, accepted the decisioune of the said mater in and wpoun him.
